Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join our finance team in South San Francisco. You will support month-end close with a focus on inventory, manufacturing, maintenance and logistics, ensuring data reflects the physical movement of goods.

Work with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics and Operations to improve accuracy of inventory and fixed assets, develop KPIs, and support audits. You’ll review master data, perform cycle counts, and help scale our accounting processes

Qualifications

• Experience with month-end close and inventory accounting.
• Knowledge of fixed assets and cycle counts.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Run inventory, freight, and operational reports during month-end close.
• Prepare first-level reviews for inventory activity and cycle counts.
• Assist with cost validation, variance analysis, and unusual trends.
• Maintain master data including locations, categories, and classifications.
• Support fixed asset reviews, asset additions/disposals/transfers.
• Develop KPIs for inventory movements and accuracy.
• Support audits related to inventory and assets.
