Job summary

Arizona Public Service is offering a paid, temporary accounting internship in Phoenix for 10 weeks during the summer. You will contribute to financial analysis, account reconciliations, reporting, and accounting projects, gaining hands-on experience in corporate accounting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting or related field.
• Must show ongoing achievement in areas of study and training.
• 3.0 GPA or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data to help support business decisions.
• Assist with journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure financial information is accurate.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and financial reporting efforts that support APS operations.
• Develop practical skills in data analytics and artificial intelligence applied to accounting challenges.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects and deliver a final presentation to APS leadership.
