Job summary

Paylocity is seeking motivated interns and new graduates to join the early careers division in an accounting support role. You will assist corporate accounting, tax, and accounting operations teams, and contribute to month-end closes and audits.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience with US GAAP, ERP systems, and internal controls, while providing coaching and structured development for a smooth transition to the workplace.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program with anticipated graduation Dec 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Accounting major preferred; GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher preferred.
• Basic understanding of US GAAP and core financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Accounting, Tax, and Accounting Operations teams.
• Assist month-end close: prepaid/accrued expenses, assets, inventory, revenue, billing, A/P; journal entries & reconciliations.
• Assist with interim/year-end audits by compiling audit support.
• Support internal controls: update narratives and flowcharts; other special projects.
• Assist External Reporting to expose SEC Form 10-K development.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses and reporting as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
