Job summary

TRDI Incorporated is seeking an Accountant Intern for an on-site role in San Antonio, TX. You will assist with applying GAAP in daily tasks and support financial statements while gaining exposure to the company’s accounting processes.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, budgeting support, asset depreciation, month-end activities, journal entries, and collaboration with project managers. Travel to contract sites may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of GAAP preferred.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software preferred.
• Federal contracting or Service Contract Labor Standards experience preferred.

Job Summary

The Accountant Intern is responsible for supporting management in various accounting functions to support departmental and organizational goals. This individual will support and assist with the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in their day-to-day work to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position is an on-site (non-remote) position in San Antonio, TX.

Duties

• Perform various account reconciliations
• Develop division budget and generate management reports
• Maintain fixed asset listing and depreciation
• Prepare and maintain month-end schedules
• Prepare and record journal entries
• Provide continuous support and training to project managers and other company personnel as needed
• Assist with regulatory and financial audits
• Comply with financial policies and procedures
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process

Qualifications

Education: Working towards a Bachelors degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.

Experience:

• Proficient in MS Excel
