Job summary

ADKF PC is seeking an Accounting Services Intern to join a collaborative team in San Antonio. You will assist with accounting and consulting engagements while gaining hands-on experience, with onboarding and on-the-job training provided.

The internship may lead to a full-time position; travel may be required; the program emphasizes client service, CPA preparation, and strong Excel/QuickBooks proficiency.

Qualifications

• Accounting major with a GPA of at least 3.0.
• Undergraduate degree completed prior to start or in final year.
• Active progress toward CPA certification with plans to pass CPA exams.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on accounting and consulting engagements.
• Assist team members in client engagements including reconciliations, general ledger entries, analytics and forecasting.
• Other duties as needed and assigned.
• Be knowledgeable on a first-year staff level by internship conclusion.
• Potential for a full-time position after internship.

Location: San Antonio, and surrounding areas, travel may be required

Qualifications:

• Accounting major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
• Undergraduate degree completed prior to start of internship or in the final year of undergraduate degree plan
• Actively working toward meeting education requirement for CPA certification and plans in place to facilitate passing the CPA exams
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Travel may be required
