Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior internships, campus leadership, or relevant project experience is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Dynamics, or SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing journal entries and related supporting documentation.
  • Support balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
  • Assist in gathering and organizing data for month-end close activities.
  • Help prepare account analyses and financial reports.
  • Support intercompany reconciliation processes and data validation efforts.
  • Assist with inventory, overhead, and operational finance reporting.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with tax and statutory reporting support activities.
  • Help identify discrepancies in financial data and elevate issues as appropriate.
  • Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Learn and apply accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
