Requires a Master’s degree in accounting or related field with 18 accounting credits or CPA; responsibilities include teaching, maintaining office hours, and participating in program/curriculum development, aligned with the college’s mission and goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in accounting or related business field with 18 undergraduate or graduate credits in accounting or CPA exam.
• Courses may have additional requirements as deemed appropriate by the discipline/department.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop the curriculum.
• Create and deliver learning experiences that support student achievement of learning outcomes.
• Employ teaching methods to maintain an engaging and effective learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback for growth.
• Cultivate a classroom environment aligned with the college’s mission and goals.
• Participate in curriculum development and implementation.
• Contribute to program reviews and strategic planning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and integrate educational technology.
• Participate in department, division, campus, and college meetings.
• Maintain weekly office hours as required by the CBA.
• Perform other duties as outlined in the CBA.
