Job summary

ConocoPhillips offers a summer internship in accounting and finance across Bartlesville, OK; Houston, TX; Midland, TX; and Anchorage, AK. You will gain hands-on exposure to financial operations and audit processes within our Financial Services and Internal Audit teams.

You will work on real-world tasks, receive coaching, and present your work to local management. Availability for mid-late May 2027 for 10–12 weeks is required.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, other business related field, or foreign equivalent
• Current level in college: Sophomore through Senior or Graduate Student
• Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2029
• Available for internship starting mid-late May 2027
• A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks availability for internship

Responsibilities

• Placement at Bartlesville, OK; Houston, TX; Midland, TX; or Anchorage, AK.
• Roles include Financial Services and Internal Audit responsibilities such as journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Interact with management via seminars, mentoring, and presentations.
• Typical internship length 10–12 weeks depending on project.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, other business related field, or foreign equivalent
