Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
  • Completion of at least one year of coursework in finance or human resources preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas); experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice review, coding, data entry, and related documentation.
  • Support the period-close process by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and other financial reports.
  • Assist with preparing routine financial reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for management review.
  • Help prepare monthly bank reconciliations by comparing bank statements with internal financial records and researching discrepancies.
  • Assist with maintaining fixed asset records, including additions, retirements, and book depreciation schedules across multiple entities.
  • Maintain and organize tax and financial records, files, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with financial research, analysis, and special projects as assigned.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee records and HRIS information.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical HR files in accordance with company procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Review applications and resumes for basic qualifications and assist with the recruiting process.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist with preparing HR communications, presentations, and informational materials.
  • Support employee engagement activities, company events, and employee recognition programs.
  • Assist with HR compliance-related projects, audits, and documentation.
  • Assist with special projects involving HR policies, procedures, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and other HR initiatives.
  • Research HR topics and provide information to support departmental projects and decision-making.
  • Perform administrative and operational tasks that support the Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and Administration functions.
  • Assist with cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain reports, spreadsheets, records, and other business documentation.
  • Provide support for company projects, meetings, events, and other activities as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the needs of the organization.

Summary

We are seeking a motivated Accounting, Finance & Human Resources Intern to support our operations and administrative functions. This hands-on internship provides an opportunity to gain real-world experience in a professional environment, working alongside experienced staff on meaningful projects that contribute directly to the organization's operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Accounting & Finance
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice review, coding, data entry, and related documentation.
