Rockingham Community College seeks a Faculty member for Accounting and Finance (9 Month) to join the Business Technologies department. The position is on-site with a heavy emphasis on curriculum development, student outcomes, and active instruction within the accounting program.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours in Accounting, plus teaching experience in a community college setting. Online teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field or Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution.
• Two years of teaching experience in a community college setting.
• Online teaching experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Curriculum and Instruction: develop program competencies and student learning outcomes.
• Assist in syllabi development reflecting program outcomes and expectations.
• Lead assessments of learning outcomes for courses and reporting progress.
• Deliver effective instruction aligned with best practice in accounting.
• Manage course loads and classroom/lab facilities; supervise adjuncts when needed.
• Coordinate class schedules with department and dean; ensure compliance with program measures.
