Job summary

RTX, the world’s leading aerospace and defense company, has an immediate opening for a Principal Specialist - Accounting & Controllership. You will analyze MRP supply and demand issues, research exception accounts, and provide daily/weekly reporting to improve cost visibility and accuracy.

You will collaborate with Production Control, Operations, Supply Chain, Program Finance, and Logistics to resolve grouping, pegging, and distribution errors, support project closures, and drive continuous

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent experience required.
Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Experience with SAP, PRISM, or similar financial systems strongly desired.

Responsibilities

Analyze MRP supply and demand issues and coordinate with internal customers for resolution.
Research exception accounts (scrap, stock differences, excess) and provide regular reporting on GPD errors using PRISM data.
Assist with new material group setups and ensure correct WBS grouping.
Analyze inventory cost shifts, undistributed costs, and variances.
Support Project Closure activities with cross-functional teams.
Provide full-service support to internal customers (Production Control, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) to resolve grouping and pegging issues and complete PRISM closures.
Perform extensive cost shift analysis and variance research.
