Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits is seeking a full-time accounting support role in Indianapolis. The position provides exposure to daily ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable processing, and routine administrative accounting tasks within the accounting department.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience, with knowledge of GAAP and federal regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and federal regulatory guidelines.
• Understanding of organizational objectives and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting tasks and data entry into the ledger system.
• Prepare and file routine accounting documents and reports.
• Open and distribute mail and support accounts payable/receivable processing.
• Maintain files for incoming checks and vendor information.
• Support the department with miscellaneous accounting duties as assigned.
