Midco Diving & Marine Services, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Accounting Clerk to join our finance team.

In this role you will support daily financial operations and help maintain the integrity of our multi-entity accounting records. You will handle routine transactions, assist with the AP/AR cycle, and help reconcile monthly statements while learning QuickBooks Online and Monday.com in a hybrid-remote environment with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clerical accounting experience or an Associate's degree in accounting preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for accuracy and balance.
• Independent and disciplined; comfortable in a hybrid-remote setting.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe; eager to learn QuickBooks Online (desktop) and Monday.com.

Responsibilities

• Process daily flow of business transactions across the organization with precision.
• Master the AP/AR cycle, including processing invoice payments and contract-based billing.
• Balance and reconcile monthly credit card receipts, expense reports, and account statements.

We're looking for a detailed, entry-level Accounting Clerk to join our team. This is a role where you will play a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of our multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate will take the initiative to learning new technologies, practices, and processes in the accounting realm.

This full-time position reports to the office once a week and must be able to manage their time and priorities efficiently and independently.

What You'll Do

• On the Ledger: You'll handle the daily flow of business transactions across our organization, ensuring every fund received and dollar spent is posted with precision.
• Master the AP/AR Cycle:From processing invoice payments to assisting with contract-based billing, you will keep our cash flow moving and our vendor relationships strong.
• Balance the Books:You will collect, review, and reconcile monthly credit card receipts, expense reports, and account statements to ensure all records match.
• Guard Data Integrity & Records: You'll help manage and maintain our accounting database, providing the clean data and professional summaries needed for special projects and long‑term financial health.

What We're Looking For

• Experienced: You'll have 0–2 years of clerical accounting experience, or an Associate's degree in accounting/a related field is preferred.
• Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp eye for analytical excellence. You notice the small trends and errors that others miss, and you take pride in a perfectly balanced sheet.
• Independent & Disciplined: You thrive in a hybrid-remote setting. You are a self-starter who can prioritize a heavy workload and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Tech-Savvy:You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe, and eager to learn platforms like QuickBooks Online (desktop) andMonday.com to keep tasks on track.
