Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commercial Dive School Diploma required.
• ADCI Dive Physical completed within the last year.
• CPR/First Aid certifications current.
• Current ADCI Diver Card held.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proven ability to manage a team and follow direction from management.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dive team with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Complete our supervisor in training program to master Midco safety standards and leadership expectations.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct daily safety meetings addressing site hazards.
• Plan and execute daily diving operations to meet project timelines and standards.
• Uphold quality for all customer projects including cleaning, inspection, and reporting.
• Maintain effective communication with team, management, and customers.
• Complete daily paperwork: logs, reports, and work orders on time.
• Prepare for extensive year-round travel and work in diverse climates, heights, and confined spaces.

Midco Diving & Marine Services is the leading full-service underwater construction, inspection, and repair firm in the nation. We're looking for a Dive Supervisor who can take the lead. You'll be in charge of planning and executing all daily diving operations, with a focus on team safety and development. To ensure your success, you will step into this role as a "Supervisor in Training," completing a comprehensive supervisor training program before jumping fully into the job.

What You'll Do

• Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of divers, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Comprehensive Training: Complete our hands-on supervisor in training program to fully master Midco's safety standards, operational protocols, and leadership expectations before leading independent field operations.
• Safety First: Enforce rigorous safety protocols, including conducting daily safety meetings to address site-specific hazards.
• Operational Excellence: Plan and execute all daily diving operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet our high standards.
• Quality Control: Uphold company standards for all customer projects, including cleaning, inspection, repair, and reporting.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with your team, upper management, and customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Administrative Management: Complete daily paperwork, including logs, reports, and work orders, accurately and on time.
• Travel and Adaptability: Be prepared for extensive year-round travel and to work in various climates and demanding conditions, including heights and confined spaces.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of potable diving experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Commercial Dive School Diploma
• ADCI Dive Physical (completed within the last year)
• CPR/First Aid certifications
• Current ADCI Diver Card
• Valid driver's license
• Proven ability to manage a team and follow direction from management
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
