A prominent firm is seeking an Accountant to oversee financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, along with strong analytical and communication skills to ensure compliance and accurate reporting. You will play a crucial part in maintaining financial transparency through meticulous record-keeping and coordination with auditors.
· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
· Process invoices, including entering them into the system, matching them to receipts, and filing them
· Reconcile invoices and accounts to ensure payments match goods and services received
· Verify expense reports and query invoices items
· Maintain records of payments and expenditures, including purchase orders and statements
· Coordinates external audits and ensure auditors have the information they need
· Maintain and document accounting policies and procedures
· May assist with other duties related to administration of accounting.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
· Thorough understanding relevant accounting principles.
· Ability to analyze data, interpret trends and create insightful reports.
· Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders to explain financial information.
· Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
· High level of accuracy and meticulousness when handling financial data.
