Accounting Clerk, Part-Time

Location: Pleasant Grove, UT

Rate: $18 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Keysy is an innovative car buying platform that combines the convenience of online shopping with the personal experience of local dealerships. We offer a fully online process for buying, selling, and financing vehicles, allowing users to browse inventory, get quotes, and schedule test drives without visiting a dealership. We also provide tools for trade-ins and financing, making the car buying process more transparent and efficient.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk responsible for processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting needs. This includes maintaining records of expenditures, receipts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and profit and loss. The Accounting Clerk will collaborate with the CFO on various projects and support other departments as needed.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Accurately input financial transactions and maintain organized financial records
• Verify invoices, process payments, and reconcile vendor statements
• Produce forecasts of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Manage month-end closing and prepare financial statements and operational reports
• Maintain and refine the online accounting system
• Oversee day-to-day automobile sales accounting including billing, A/R, A/P, G/L
• Identify financial trends and provide insights into complex financial and operational matters
• Collaborate with the CFO to explain results, suggest improvements, manage projects, and develop complex analysis
• Provide administrative support as needed

Experiences and Skill Set

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role; experience with used car sales accounting is a plus
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Ability to handle complex projects efficiently
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience managing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines
