Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Accounting Manager to join the Finance and Business Integration team in Nashville. The role partners with accounting operations, business, finance, and technology to automate financial flows for our Stores business and support new global initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication, critical thinking, and experience in accounting, program management, and finance systems to deliver scalable, secure financial solutions in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define Strategies: partner with accounting and technology teams to develop and own the implementation strategies for large, multi-year accounting automation programs.
• Own and Manage: manage lifecycle activities from planning through stakeholder engagement for multiple projects.
• Automate: lead automation projects and design processes/tools to improve financial statement accuracy and efficiency.
• Support Expansion: ensure controlled processes to keep Amazon’s financial statements materially correct as the business grows.
• Consult: act as a trusted advisor to diverse stakeholder teams across Amazon.
• Make Decisions: act as an empowered decision maker driving projects to completion.
• Collaborate: work with Amazonians from diverse backgrounds.
