Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Finance and Business Integration team in Culver City, CA. You will work closely with accounting operations, business, finance, and technology teams to implement systems that automate financial flows for our Stores business.

You will support and influence the launches of Amazon’s newest global initiatives, delivering scalable, secure, and flexible financial solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of COSO framework and GAAP.
• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients.
• Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Define strategies for large, multi-year accounting automation programs.
• Own and manage lifecycle activities from planning to stakeholder engagement for multiple projects.
• Automate processes to make financial statement processes easier and more accurate.
• Support expansion by implementing controlled processes to keep financial statements correct.
• Consult with diverse stakeholder teams across Amazon.
