Job summary

Myers & Stauffer LC is seeking a senior auditor to lead Medicaid cost report and DSH audits, analyzing financial data, performing reimbursement calculations, and preparing supporting documentation.

You will provide strong leadership, supervise staff, manage audit workflows, review fieldwork, and mentor team while safeguarding patient health information. Strong collaboration with providers and adherence to deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• At least 6 years of related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct cost report/DSH audits.
• Provide leadership on audit engagements and supervise staff.
• Assist in completing project deliverables and manage audit workflow.
• Perform final review of audit fieldwork.
• Provide quality assurance reviews on working papers and reports.

• Provide strong leadership on audit engagements, effectively supervising staff to provide quality deliverables within the defined deadlines
• Assist in completing project deliverables and manage flow of audits through required process
• Provide quality assurance reviews on audit and attestation working papers and reports completed by other team members
• Schedule field audit dates with providers
