Job summary

Aprio is seeking an Accounting Associate to join its Client Accounting Services team. The role involves preparing monthly work for standard clients, updating asset schedules, and ensuring timely financial statement compliance.

You will collaborate with team members to gather missing items and contribute to year-end workpapers in a fast-growing, client-focused environment. Aprio provides opportunities for growth, a flexible, hybrid work environment, and a supportive culture as part of a Top 20

Responsibilities

• Prepare/write up full monthly work for standard / less complex clients
• Prepare/update fixed assets schedules and reconcile to financial statements
• Communicate with team members for missing items for monthly work
• Perform Financial Statement compliance review
• Complete year-end workpapers
• Help all other levels when needed
• Join in on helping facilitate what is needed for the Team as a whole
• Begin to understand concept of budget and realization goals for both for clients and team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to be flexible
• Ability to handle more than one project / task at a time
• Ability to learn different software and understand how they work and improve the firm in total
• Ability to think critically
• Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Etc.
