WestStar seeks an Accounting Associate I to support the Bank and its affiliates in maintaining accounting principles and regulatory reporting. You will prepare financial statements, perform month-end close, and assist with audits.

You will handle revenue journals, reconciliations, vendor payments, and data analyses, contributing to accurate financial reporting and compliance in a collaborative office setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; data analytics tools helpful.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare financial statements and monthly reporting.
• Analyze accounts and reconcile ledgers and schedules.
• Support accounts payable and vendor payments processing.
• Prepare revenue-related journal entries and related reconciliations.
• Assist with audits and regulatory reporting (Call Report, FR Y-9SP, FR 2900).
• Pull and analyze data using Excel and related tools.
• Participate in budgeting and financial analysis tasks.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
