Job summary

Schaeffer Manufacturing, North America’s oldest oil, grease, lubricant and fuel additive producer, seeks an Accounting Associate – Pricing Approvals to manage order pricing and promotions while performing AR duties. The role supports our customers and sales team with accurate pricing and timely payments.

The position offers a mix of office work and the possibility to work from home one day per week after 90 days, with competitive benefits including medical coverage, 401(k) with 6% match, and

Qualifications

• At least one year of office experience in accounts receivable or credit approval.
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related education/experience mix.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Approve orders with discounts and promotions.
• Review and approve pricing criteria on accounts.
• Follow up on discount questions and adjust tax exemptions as needed.
• Process lube equipment orders and tax exemption certificates.
• Handle payment processing and account maintenance.
• Resolve invoicing and payment disputes with customers and sales reps.
• Process journal entries and reconcile accounts; maintain AR documentation.
