Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group, including Napleton Hyundai of Carmel, is seeking an Automotive Accounting Associate to record journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy. This role offers exposure to a large dealer network and growth opportunities within a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least two years of accounting experience, preferably in automotive dealerships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of accounting experience; automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various accounting statements and reports; review and verify accuracy of journal entries and classifications.
• Coordinate accounting matters with other departments, locations, and divisions.
• Input, retrieve, or display accounting information using a computer.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing various accounting statements and reports - Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
• Coordinating accounting matters with other departments, locations, and divisions
• Utilizing computer to input, retrieve or display accounting information

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two- years’ experience in accounting; Automotive Dealership experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office software
• CDK experience preferred but not required
• Strong acclimation to mathematics and analysis
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
