Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is recruiting a Sales Associate for Napleton Hyundai of Carmel in Carmel, IN. You will assist customers, guide vehicle selections, and deliver vehicles with explanations of features and paperwork.

With 2+ years in sales or customer service, you will build relationships, follow up, and leverage product knowledge to close deals. The role offers an incentive-driven pay structure and potential for significant earnings, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local laws.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers who enter the dealership and help them select a vehicle that fits their needs.
• Provide timely follow-up and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Explain product performance, options, and benefits, and determine vehicle needs by asking questions.
• Deliver vehicles to customers and ensure they understand features, warranty, and paperwork.
• Keep abreast of inventory and features to inform customers.
• Introduce customers to service department to highlight quality and efficiency of maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering their questions and helping them select a vehicle that is right for their needs
• Provide timely follow up and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
• Deliver vehicles to customers. The delivery process ensures that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork, and it lays the foundation for customer loyalty
• Keep abreast of incoming inventory, features, accessories, etc., and how they benefit customers
• Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership’s service department.

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of Sales or Customer Service Experience
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, goal orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
