Job summary

Napleton Auto Group seeks an Automotive Accounting Associate at Napleton Hyundai of Carmel to record journal entries for the general ledger and prepare financial statements.

In a fast-paced automotive environment, you will coordinate with departments, handle data entry, and support accounting controls. A high school diploma and 2 years accounting experience in a dealership are required; CDK familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of accounting experience; automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.
• CDK experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mathematics and analytical abilities.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

• Preparing various accounting statements and reports - Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
• Coordinating accounting matters with other departments, locations, and divisions.
• Utilizing computer to input, retrieve or display accounting information.
