Job summary

CCL Label Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate - Billing Specialist to manage the entire Accounts Receivable function from invoicing to cash applications on first shift in an office setting.

You will match, batch, and reconcile sales documents, ensure proper revenue recognition, and research AR issues. The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Matches, batches, and compiles documents to support sales invoices.
• Enter, post and reconcile sales batches daily.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition of sales batches.
• Research and resolve AR issues with customers.
• Update and reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger.
• Maintain account reconciliations and credit memos from returns.
• Perform periodic AR collections tasks for past due invoices.
• Assist with month end close (send statements, run reports).
• Cross train with AP Associate and Cash Applications.
• Maintain a filing system for AR invoices.
• Share phone answering duties for calls into the accounting department.
• Maintains files as needed (both paper and electronic).
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
