Canteen North America is hiring a full-time Accounting Assistant in Tigard, OR. The role handles accounts payable and receivable under the Accounting Manager in a Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts receivable and accounts payable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports accounts payable functions (check runs, review entries).
• Reviews invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Responds to vendor inquiries and maintains accounting files.
• Develops and runs queries using Access and Excel.
• Prepares bank deposits and bank reconciliations.
• Assists with month-end close entries and account reconciliations.
