Terrafirma, a Scottsdale-based manager of commercial condo associations, is hiring an Accounting Assistant to work with the Senior Accountant on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly client reports. You’ll be the first contact for vendor or tenant billing questions and contribute to accurate, stable books as the portfolio grows.
This full-time, in-office role is based in Scottsdale with standard business hours on a small, hands-on team.
This role will coordinate Accounting and the Property Managers to ensure the books at Terrafirma are accurate and stable as the portfolio scales.
Terrafirma manages commercial condo associations across the Scottsdale area — 35 properties and counting. Owners send friends and colleagues our way because we're the firm that actually calls back, not the one that goes quiet after the contract is signed.
We're hiring an Accounting Assistant to work directly with our Senior Accountant on the numbers that keep that reputation intact: accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the monthly reports clients rely on. You'll also be a first point of contact when a vendor or tenant has a billing question, so how you communicate matters as much as how you reconcile.
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Scottsdale, working standard business hours as part of a small, hands-on team.
Day-to-day, you're moving between AP and AR, pulling together financial reports, and fielding billing questions from vendors and tenants, sometimes all in the same afternoon. Because the team is small, you'll also pick up general office work as it comes up.
$45,000 to $55,000 per year, based on experience, with real room to take on more of the accounting function as Terrafirma grows.
