Job summary

SGH Redglaze Holdings, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks an Accounting Assistant to join the corporate accounting team. This in-office position reports daily to the office and collaborates with the controller and accounting staff to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing.

You will post daily cash receipts and invoices, assist with AR collections, data entry, month-end adjustments, vendor statements, audits, and related accounting tasks. Team-oriented, self-starter candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Posting daily cash receipts, auto-pay bills, customer invoices, and vendor invoices
• Assist with accounts receivable collections & reporting
• Perform accurate & complete data entry of financial transactions into the accounting software, including month end adjustments and account reconciliations
• Process new vendor credit applications and provide monthly vendor statement reconciliation including resolution of discrepancies
• Assist with credit card statement processing
• Maintain subcontractor insurance compliance and documentation
• Assist with company prequalification compliance
• Assist with documentation for internal and external audits
• Support other accounting or organizational requirements as needed and assigned
