Job summary

Inteplast Group is seeking an Accounting Assistant to verify and batch accounts payable and freight invoices across locations. This role collaborates with the HR department when assistance is needed and supports essential clerical duties.

The ideal candidate has 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing setting with AP/AR systems, plus 2 years of college in accounting or business administration (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in manufacturing AP/AR systems.
• 2 years of college in accounting or business administration preferred, may substitute for experience.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and manage work-related stress.

Responsibilities

• Process miscellaneous AP invoices for 2 locations with verification and approvals.
• Process freight invoices with verification and approvals for variances.
• Backup for applying AR cash receipts, researching payment discrepancies, and reporting to credit department.
