Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking an Accounting Analyst for the Wichita, KS area to join the Invoice-to-Pay team. The role emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, and delivering insights across the business.

You will handle diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, partnering with global colleagues to optimize collections and internal controls. The position requires experience in accounting/finance, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel.

Your Job

Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our Invoice-to-Pay (ITP) team in Wichita, KS. This position will engage, challenge, and provide fulfillment to a candidate with strong critical thinking skills and an economic focus, who enjoys collaborating with others, and who seeks to originate ideas that can provide new insights for our business. This role will be involved with a diverse and variable scope of responsibilities. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Our Team

The KES Leveraged Capability team has responsibility for global ITP activities for the KES business group. The team works closely with various departments to provide insights and support strategic initiatives aligned with the company's vision and goals.

What You Will Do

• Execute on strategies to optimize capability, resolve issues, disputes and reconciliations; escalating accordingly to ensure awareness
• Identify and develop recommendations, drive waste elimination through transformation opportunities that will provide value within the organization.
• Seek and share knowledge, communicate effectively, and build partnerships cross-functionally within KES and externally to provide optimal solutions.
• Proactively manage and take ownership of your portfolio of customers
• Collaborate with global team members to identify improvement opportunities and deliver solutions that create value for KES.
• Monitor and analyze reports, identify trends and areas for improvement, implement frameworks and procedures to ensure efficient and timely collections.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices, establish and uphold effective internal controls, frameworks, and procedures.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in Accounting/Finance focused role that required a solid understanding of accounting processes and financial concepts
• Experience building relationships within multiple levels of an organization.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting and tailoring messages to a variety of audiences
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Experience learning new systems, technology, and improving processes
• Experience in Excel (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation)

What Will Put You Ahead

• Basic accounting and/or ITP experience
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)
• Exposure to Global Tax requirements including VAT or Sales/Use Tax
• Experience working in an international organization with exposure to Global ITP procedures
• Experience with Government or Customer Portal Invoicing
• Fluent in Spanish - demonstrated verbal and written proficiency
• Experience utilizing GenAI to improve efficiency in a professional setting.
