Job summary

First American Financial Company is seeking an Accounting Analyst for a primarily remote role with optional onsite support in Scottsdale. You will handle customer inquiries related to Accounts Payable and Receivable, review expense reports, and facilitate process improvements.

You will work with Oracle, SAP Concur, and other systems, producing reports and supporting cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize processes. Strong accounting knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically requires 2-4 years of analytical or related business experience.
• Problem solving—identifying problems and evaluating options to implement solutions.
• Strong computer skills including all applications in Microsoft Office.
• Effective analytical, verbal, and written skills.
• Ability to identify and research problems and resolve with appropriate solutions.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP Concur and/or Service First preferred.
• General knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.

What We Do

This is a Customer Service Help Desk position in the Finance Service Center. In this role, you will be working closely with our business partners to resolve issues related to shipping. You will be answering questions for internal and external customers and vendors related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Responsibilities also include reviewing employee expense reports and approving for reimbursement. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with customers over the phone and in email. We are looking for a quick learner who can master navigating various systems, including Oracle and Concur, to provide resolutions.

The position is primarily remote; however, the Analyst must be able to work from the Scottsdale office when required.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $21.24 - $28.31 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
