Job summary

PTC is seeking an Accounting Analyst I in Alliance, OH. The role focuses on compiling and analyzing accounting data, posting entries, and supporting month-end close.

You will work with Purchasing and other departments to resolve issues and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 1–3 years of relevant experience and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills; Hyperion and Oracle experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Compile, consolidate and analyze accounting and financial data.
• Post entries, reconcile inputs and support month-end close processes.
• Assist with fixed assets, capital expenditures, leases and reporting requests.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and other departments to resolve issues.
