Job summary

BYRNE ELECTRICAL SPECIALISTS is seeking an Associate Accounting Analyst to support daily accounting activities, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations, within the Finance Department. The role emphasizes GAAP adherence, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of accounting experience, a 2–4 year degree, and strong Excel; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• CPA preferred.
• ERP systems experience; Byrne will implement a new ERP in 2026.
• Advanced Excel skills (LOOKUPs, PivotTables).
• Power BI or AI-driven data analytics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post journal entries and month-end close documentation.
• Generate financial statements and variance analysis.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve variances.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting with cross-functional data.
• Support audit schedules and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Assist accounts receivable/payable processes.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
