Job summary

You will work directly with Operations to strengthen processes and controls behind the company’s financial results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the monthly close.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least five years of experience, and proficiency with SAP or other Tier I ERP and Excel.

• At least five years of related professional accounting experience.
• Proficiency with SAP or another Tier I ERP, plus Excel and standard office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working with operational teams and explaining financial results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze cost and spending variances, investigate unusual fluctuations, and explain findings to management.
• Partner with operational departments to review financial results and develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Maintain fixed assets in the ERP system.
• Prepare schedules and support requests for interim and year-end external audits.
• Help document accounting policies, procedures, and controls for Sarbanes‑Oxley implementation.
