Job summary

International Motors, LLC, based in Lisle, Illinois, seeks an Accounting Consultant to join our Accounting Team. The role covers journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial results analytics with close coordination with operating personnel.

The position reports to the Accounting Manager and is based at our Lisle headquarters. CPA strongly preferred; experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, PowerBI, and advanced Excel is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Bachelor's + CPA with at least 2 years of accounting/finance experience
• Master's degree in Accounting or Master's + CPA with at least 1 year of accounting/finance experience
• CPA strongly preferred and required in some tracks, high emphasis on GAAP knowledge and ethics

Responsibilities

• Support timely financial close with monthly journal entries and reconciliations
• Ensure organizational structure supports department objectives
• Collaborate with operations to account for significant transactions
• Drive process improvements to shorten close cycle and improve efficiency
• Prepare financial statement analytics and key metrics
• Support internal and external audits for timely completion
• Complete special projects as assigned
