Team at Voxy

The Finance and Accounting team maintains the company's financial health through strategic planning and precise accounting. They manage cash flow, budgeting, and costs, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. The Accounting Analyst will handle daily accounting tasks, improve month-end processes, and collaborate across regions to support growth. They will also help implement controls and streamline processes.

Responsibilities

1. Manage daily accounting functions.
2. Handle revenue recognition, commissions, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
3. Participate in monthly close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
4. Support financial reporting for stakeholders.
5. Coordinate with external accounting firms.
6. Document and monitor internal controls; participate in budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting.
• Experience with month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Experience with payroll, prepaid expenses, taxes, and revenue reconciliation.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tech startups or accounting firms.
• Knowledge of LATAM accounting practices.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify, Salesforce.
• Fluent Spanish skills are a plus.
