OpenTrain AI is recruiting an Accounting AI Training Expert to develop training data that enables AI systems to reason about real accounting work. You will translate professional accounting workflows, judgments, and decisions into realistic scenarios and structured examples, then assess AI-generated outputs for accuracy and standards compliance.

Expertise across audit, tax, financial reporting, bookkeeping, controllership, forensic accounting, or accounting systems is relevant.

Qualifications

• Strong written communication and ability to explain accounting workflows
• Ability to apply GAAP or IFRS judgment when evaluating outputs
• Experience designing realistic accounting scenarios and professional contexts

Responsibilities

• Design realistic accounting scenarios and tasks based on day-to-day professional work
• Create examples covering financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Develop examples involving audit procedures, tax filings, month-end close, and internal controls
• Compare AI-generated accounting outputs with applicable GAAP or IFRS requirements
• Apply professional judgment when assessing the accuracy and soundness of model responses
• Write clear feedback that helps improve AI performance on accounting tasks
• Collaborate asynchronously with a research team on task design and evaluation
