Job summary

Grant Thornton (US) seeks a Manager to lead teams advising on complex accounting transactions for Grant Thornton | Stax Transactions clients. You will leverage client operations, processes, and risks to deliver substantiated advisory services, while engaging stakeholders and advancing your career through training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or related disciplines; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to multiple engagement teams on complex accounting transactions.
• Oversee and support carve-out engagements including 100-day planning and transition activities.
• Assist in SEC regulatory filings and preparation of carve-out financials.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and mentor junior staff.
• Travel up to 30% as required to client sites.
