Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking an experienced Accounting Advisory Services leader to drive growth of the national practice in Atlanta. You will lead client engagements, manage project teams, and deliver high-quality solutions across complex accounting initiatives, combining technical expertise with strong leadership and client service.

You will mentor staff and collaborate cross-functionally with internal and client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical expertise in financial accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, SEC reporting, M&A, or financial operations.
• CPA License required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and manage project teams across complex accounting initiatives.
• Provide strategic guidance to C-suite and senior client executives with regular updates.
• Develop engagement strategies and execute accounting and finance advisory engagements.
• Perform and review technical accounting research and advise on GAAP, SEC, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee engagement quality and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor and develop project teams with coaching and performance feedback.
• Support business development through proposals, scoping, pricing, and client relations.
