Job summary

Ignited Recruiting is assisting a client in the DC area seeking external auditors ready to advance their careers. Ideal candidates have at least one busy season as a senior auditor in public accounting and are exploring a transition out of public accounting.

Responsibilities include working on diverse accounting projects, supporting 10-K/10-Q work, GL reconciliation, and assisting with month- and year-end closes. Knowledge of ASC 606/842 is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of audit/accounting experience.
• Public accounting audit experience is required.
• CPA eligible or CPA.
• Team player with effective written and verbal communication skills.
