Job summary

Ignited Recruiting is seeking external auditors in the Detroit area who are ready to advance their careers. If you have at least one busy season as a senior auditor in public accounting and are considering a transition out of public accounting, this role could be a good fit.

You will work on a range of accounting projects, assist with 10-K/10-Q filings, maintain general ledger accounts, and support month- and year-end close processes across multiple companies. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of audit/accounting experience.
• Public accounting audit experience is a must.
• CPA eligible or CPA.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of accounting projects.
• Help with 10-K and 10-Q.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Assist with month- and year-end close process of various companies.
• Research and draft technical accounting memos (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842).
