Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct instructors to teach on-site during day or evening sessions. Responsibilities include delivering course content, creating syllabi, and maintaining attendance and grading records in line with college policies.

Qualified candidates may hold a master’s in accounting or related fields with required coursework, or a bachelor’s in accounting with additional qualifications, and CPA credentials may apply.

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree or higher in accounting or related field with 18 accounting hours if required.
• Bachelor’s in accounting with two of: certifications, experience, teaching excellence or research.
• Related business degree + CPA may satisfy qualification routes.

Responsibilities

• Teach on-site during day or evening sessions.
• Develop syllabus aligned with course content and institutional standards.
• Maintain attendance and grading records per college policy.
• Be available to students outside scheduled class times to assist.
