• Master's in related field with 18 post-secondary hours in accounting; or
• Master's in related field with two or more in-field credentials or teaching evidence; or
• Bachelor's in accounting with two+ in-field credentials or experience; or
• Bachelor's in a related business field with active CPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Modify lesson plans, assignments, tests and materials as appropriate; maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students regularly to provide a positive Ivy Tech experience.
• Develop and implement teaching strategies to engage students in learning.
• Interact professionally with students and colleagues and comply with policies and FERPA.

Education

Master's degree or higher in accounting

Master's degree in related field with 18 post-secondary hours in accounting

Two or more in-field credentials or experience plus teaching evidence

Bachelor's in accounting with two+ in-field credentials or experience
