Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field with at least eighteen (18) credit hours in graduate level Accounting from an accredited institution.
• Collegiate level teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes; proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses on ground as assigned, including evening, off-campus, and distance-based courses.
• Post grades during the term and submit final grades by the Registrar deadlines.
• Complete required trainings and reports (attendance, Early Alerts, progress, surveys) and adhere to deadlines; inform Program Chair/Dean if unable to teach.
• Check JSCC email and departmental mailbox; respond within 48 hours, excluding weekends.
• Submit or update class syllabi at least 2 weeks before first class or within seven days of contract execution.
