Job summary

Mapletree is seeking a finance professional in New York to manage full spectrum of finance functions in line with statutory requirements and company policies. The role involves preparing and reporting financial results, budgeting, forecasting, and coordinating with the Singapore HQ.

The candidate should hold CPA/CA or a degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics, with up to 3 years of hands-on experience, strong MS Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA qualification and/or Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
• 0-3 years’ relevant hands-on experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Able to communicate in local language to communicate with local stakeholders and English to liaise with Headquarters in Singapore.
• Experience with SAP system would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, analysis of results, budgeting and forecasting, EVA, Corporate tax and GST reporting , audit schedules intercompany reconciliation as well as checking of payment records.
• Required to perform credit review for vendor selection, as well as liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters.
• Work closely with outsourced service providers and review the work submitted.
• Liaise with finance team based in Singapore headquarters for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities.

The Role

Compensation Data

$70,000 - $90,000

This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the indicated state’s Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful applicant, in the state of hire, might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be performing the role from the indicated state of hire. Similar positions located outside the indicated state will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by the Pay Transparency Law enacted in the state of hire. Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, relevant skills, training and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
