Job summary

SEMMCHRA in southeastern Minnesota is seeking a full-time experienced Accountant to join the Fiscal Department. Working under limited and technical supervision, the Accountant will support core accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, budgeting, and general ledger management.

This role ensures regulatory compliance and maintains accurate financial records across all HRA programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in government or housing authority accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Ability to support budgeting and general ledger processes.

The southeastern Minnesota Multi-County Housing & Redevelopment Authority (SEMMCHRA) is
currently seeking a full-time experienced Accountant to join the Fiscal Department. Working under
limited and technical supervision, the Accountant will support the Senior Accountant with all core
accounting operations that include accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, budgeting, and
general ledger management. This role ensures regulatory compliance and maintains accurate financial
