The Oklahoma City Housing Authority is seeking a Senior Accountant to prepare timely financial reports in accordance with GAAP and to assist with internal controls and audits. The role collaborates with Senior Accountants and related entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Salary Range: $44,113.00 - $66,169.00.
The Oklahoma City Housing Authority (OCHA) is a large public housing authority in the initial stages of conversion to affordable housing. OCHA and the Community Enhancement Corporation (CEC) develop and administer federal housing programs for low income families. Both OCHA and CEC receive funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), private investors as well as from other programs such as Low Income Housing Tax Credits and property operations income. While the CEC has accounting staff specifically assigned to its programs, it is expected that the OCHA Senior Accountant and the CEC accounting staff will collaborate.
This position is directly responsible to the Director of Finance.
Near vision enough to read and write correspondence, read ledgers, and work with computerized reports, code books, plans, etc. Hearing and speech sufficient to communicate clearly and effectively in person and by telephone. Physical range of motion and coordination for extensive work with files. Working conditions may be stressful at times due to deadlines. Overtime will be required at certain times of the year.
