• Review and process a high volume of invoices, requisitions, receiving reports, monthly and quarterly board stipends, intradepartmental charge allocations, and contract encumbrance payments, via an automated financial system.
• Research and resolve various accounts payable discrepancies.
• Prepare and reconcile complex fiscal reports.
• Reconcile multiple accounts (food vouchers, procurement card transactions).
• Process fiscal year-end transactions.
• Provide technical assistance and/or fiscal training both internally and for partner agencies.
• Other duties include cross-training and special projects.

In this role, you’ll manage a high volume ofaccounts payable transactions while providing fiscal analysis, resolvingcomplex billing and payment issues, and supporting accurate and timelyfinancial reporting.

The Basics (Required Education and Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Two years of experience in accounting
• Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)

• Proficient working knowledge of financial data entry programs
• 3+ years of accounts payable experience in County or State Government processing and prioritizing a high volume of transactions with accuracy
