Job summary

Apex Service Partners seeks an Accountant in Tampa to join Partner Services and help build a scalable finance function. The role collaborates with regional accounting teams and reports to the APS Manager, contributing to a robust close process.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field, and strong communication and organizational skills. CPA is a plus; FloQast and Sage Intacct experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA license a plus.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and accounting ERP implementations is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly centralized entries for the 6 regional teams during month-end close.
• Master the use and rollout of FloQast; ensure accurate month-end and year-end close with reconciliations.
• Assist external auditors with requested materials, in conjunction with APS Senior Manager.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and implement streamlined procedures.
• Execute individual and team goals supporting strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to team culture.
